🎉 We Came, We Learned, We Talked Circularity… and We Ate Mince Pies!

On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of presenting my Designing for Circularity: Applying Circular Principles in Architecture and Workplace Design CPD to the wonderful team at Interaction Ltd in Bath and I could not have asked for a better group!

From the moment I arrived, the team were incredibly welcoming, engaged and full of great questions. They even scored 100% in our end-of-session quiz, earning themselves a well-deserved box of Celebrations 🍫

To add to the festive spirit, I brought along mince pies 🥧 and a selection of material samples from EzoBord, Extremis, AVOLT, Clean Living International, an OnOffice magazine plus some Circular Office Group leaflets for everyone to explore. 

This CPD is something I am deeply passionate about. It dives into:
♻️ How circularity can reshape workplace and architectural design
🏗️ Designing for longevity, flexibility and reuse
📊 Using LCA and EPDs for data-driven material specification
🌍 Understanding Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
📉 How circular design reduces embodied carbon and fits within frameworks like BREEAM.

I also share real-world examples from our work, showing how circular principles can be applied practically - not just theoretically.

The goal is simple: Help architects create adaptable, resource-efficient, future-proof spaces that genuinely reduce environmental impact.
